Kitchen Towels--Some of these towels are bought at the local stores and some are towel fabric that I cut and hemmed myself.  I embroider something sweet and there you have them---We spend so much time in the kitchen and with those sweet young ones always in there with us and supper is late and church starts soon and life is so hectic sometimes--these towels I hope will remind us all of what is so important.  Supper will always be late, church will always start on time without you (unless you are the Pastor's wife and we won't go there, will we?), children only stay little for a short while----slow down and appreciate them.  A favorite saying of mine---'The journey is the destination'---.  I will share something here that the Lord showed me many years ago when my babies were very little---they see me at home, in the middle of late meals and dirty laundry and running late.  How I respond and treat them at home is what they will remember.  If I am only patient in public and sweetness comes out of my mouth only when others are around to hear---they will remember that, also.  And I can very thankfully say, here and now,  all four of my children are grown and are known by the words coming out of their mouths, now, as very nice and thoughtful and patient people.  Thank you, Jesus.
